In NIStune you first open an address file which matches the part number of your ECU. An easy way to find the part number of your ECU is to go to JWT's website at this link. [ http://jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/ECU-ID.PDF ]Look for the number which is on the decal on your ECU. Find your ECU at the link by year first then the number on the decal which may be something like "A18-A76 MC0". Then, on the line with that number, look across to the right for a number that looks something like "23710-41P60". In this number you are mainly concerned with the "41P60" part. This is the part number to use. Now, in NIStune, first open the address file for this part number. Click file in the menu bar and then click open address file. Once in the address file window scroll all the way down to find the part number. To open it, doubleclick the line with the part number. Now click file in the menu bar and then click open image file. If you don't have an original BIN file from the original eprom chip which was removed from your ECU to install the NIStune board then under "Program Files" browse to the folder "\NIStune\ROM_Pack\Type2\Z32_VG30" and then select the BIN file which matches your part number. In this example "41P60". Click open. In the next window the default location to load the BIN file will be "1. Image not loaded". CLick ok to load it there. Now that you have these two files loaded you can write them to the NIStune board by clicking the "open resync" icon or pressing the F8 button and perform a data upload (from PC to ECU). If you are programming the NIStune board with a NIStune programming board you create an ENT file first. To create an ENT file you use the NIStune tuning software. You load the address file, then a bin file, then click file in the menu bar and then click create ENT file. After you created the ENT file you use the NIStune programming board software, "NTProg", to write the ENT file as an image to the NIStune board. To do this the NIStune board plugs into the programming board. I do it this way when I install NIStune boards because everything can be done in the home and it is very fast. If you don't have it go to [ www.nistune.com ] and download the "NIStune_Software_Users_Manual.pdf" and the "NIStune_Software_Users_Manual_Supplement.pdf". It will help you in how to program the NIStune board.
